A closer look at selling your machinery
How machinery is valued
Machines are valued on a different logic from cars. The manufacturer and model matter, as does the year. Operating hours show how much work the machine has done, and the service record shows how well it was looked after. The condition of the wear parts, especially the undercarriage on tracked machines, the tyres on wheeled machines and the pins and bushings on booms, often decides the price within a model range. Attachments and the machine's documentation add or reduce value.
Brands and machine types we see

Hours, certificates and records
Take a photograph of the hour meter with the machine running. Gather the service records, previous inspection reports and, for cranes and lifting equipment, the examination and test certificates. These documents do not just support the price; they speed up the whole process because they answer the buyer's questions in advance.
Transport and site access
Heavy machinery has to be moved by low-loader or other specialist transport. Tell us where the machine is, how it can be accessed and whether it runs. We agree who arranges and pays for loading and transport before the price is finalised, so that there are no surprises.
Selling one machine or the whole fleet
Many of our enquiries are for a single machine, and many are for multiple machines at the end of a project. Both are welcome. For multiple machines, send a list with the details of each, and we can inspect them in a single visit and agree a price per machine or for the group.
