How trucks are valued
Truck value rests on mileage or engine hours, the condition of the engine, gearbox, clutch and differentials, the chassis and cab, the body or tipper mechanism, the tyres and braking system, and the maintenance history. Emissions equipment and compliance matter on newer models. We examine each of these during inspection.
Documents and photographs
Photograph the truck from all sides, the cab interior, the engine bay, the chassis, the tyres and the body or load area, and add a photo of the odometer. Prepare the vehicle registration, and if the truck is under finance, the bank details. Truck registrations may involve additional categories, which we explain when we discuss your case.
Selling several trucks
